Check Pauline Young & Rev. Silas Emmett Lucas Jr., "Abstracts of Old
Ninety-Six and Abbeville District Wills and Bonds" first. If your people
are included, the Courthouse is probably worth a try for more information.
I have been there and there is usually a lot in the estate folders. I
didn't look for land records but from what people have said most of those
were lost in a fire.
