NOTE: MOTHERS LISTED ON KNOWN DEATH CERT:

Ella Craig Bryant, b. 1865, death cert. names her mother ELLA CRAIG [1933 -
Death Certificate #10663 Aiken Co, SC]

McDuffie Craig, b. 1866, death cert. names his mother LIZZIE HOWARD [1938-
Death Cert #10044 Aiken Co, SC] Now this one could be informant error. Note
that McDuffie married Lizzie Howell. Possibly a wife was placed where the
mother was suppose to go??? So this one may be useless.


Cicero Craig, b. 1874 - JANE HOLLEY is named as the mother of on his death
certificate [1933 - Cert. # 2967, Aiken Co, SC]

NOTE: Cicero is born after a SEVEN year spread. All other children are 1 to 2
years apart. This is a good place to stipulate a 2nd marriage, and the dates
support that as well as the names on the death cert.

Eva Craig O'Bannion b. 1877 - JANE HOLLEY is named as the mother of in her
death certificate [1939, Death Cert. # 16753, Aiken Co, SC].

I concede that Ella and Lizzie could be the same. Ella Elizabeth may be her
name. But there is room for a possible two different mothers here, or the
error by informant is a possiblity.

The Jane Holley mother seems to fit only from Cicero on down, altho I don't
have info. on Lula and Calvin.


If some of you can find their obits and see what info. is given, maybe we can
solve this question.
