Martha Baldwin Chappel was widowed sister of Matthew Clarke's first wife
Abigal Baldwin. Their parents were Thomas Baldwin and Nancy Bibb. After
Abigal died, Matthew married Martha as his second wife. There were no
children from that marriage.

Then Matthew's third wife was another widow(young this time) Jane Butler
Morris.
