I have a cd "burner" I got for storage of large data as well as the
portability for safer off-site storage.
My dilemma, however is the conflicting views over whether to use CDR
or CDRW. I'd prefer to use them as I currently utilize the floppy
disks for backup. Just backup to that drive and, yes, overwrite the
file there.
Another question about them is are they formatted and if so, how can
one tell short of trying to write to it and find it is not writable?
Thanks for any input.
