One last site on this topic - actually on scanning in general, which is why

That should be worth reading for anyone on the list. This fellow, Daniel
Whitney, gives an excellent overview of scanning, scanning related to
printers, the difference between pixels and dots (ppi and dpi - there are 3
dots per pixel) and how that affects your scanning/printing resolutions, and
so forth. Excellent reference piece.

Now I think I'll go to bed, since it's 3:20 in the Aa-em here... :>)
