Subject: [SCBARNWE] WEATHERSBEE/Y-TOOLE IN BARNWELL AND EDGEFIELD

Wish information on any TOOLES and related families in Barnwell and
Edgefield
Districts, South Carolina. This family lived on the Upper Three Runs and
may have spilled over into Edgefield.
Currently trying to construct a descending family
tree on all the descendents of Isaac Toole at least down thorough his
grandchildren. He died in Barnwell District about 1814. One related family
was the Weathersbee/y group. What happened to ISAAC WEATHERSBEE/Y who
received a share of Isaac Toole's estate indicating that he was a
son-in-law. What was the given name of the Toole dau. he married? Manning
papers give her name as Sarah. No other proof. Lots of Weathersbee/ys but
no Isaac to be found. Some of the Manning paper information on TOOLE is
correct and some is not. Is it possible that the clerk made an error in the
recording of the first name of the Weathersbee man? Just an idea for why
Isaac Weathersbee is not found on the Barnwell Dist. Census. Did he
migrate, die young, etc.???
This Toole family gives new meaning to Jeff Foxworthy's you know you are
a red neck jokes about families. They married their cousins back and forth
so many times! My double Toole line comes from Richard I Manning A Toole,
called Manning, who was a son of Stephen and grandson to Isaac. Manning and
his family migrated to Georgia about 1871-74.
