I found a reference to a Court of Equity record a while back on a possible ancestor in Barbara Langdon's SC Marriage Implied in South Carolina Equity reports" and have not been able to get my hands on the original source of the information - David James McCord's "Chancery Cases Argued & Determined in the Court of Appeals of South Carolina."

I have seen reference to a book by Folks Huxford that has Barnwell Equity Records and I am wondering if it would have the same information? The reference is "Court of Equity Records of
Barnwell District, S. C. Abstracts or Genealogical Data found therein" Compiled by Folks Huxford.

Does anyone on the list have access to this resource? I am looking for a reference to John Butler/Sarah Sherry/Cherry. The original page numbers from McCords book are 60-72. The reference I have includes the fact that he died in 1818 and there is also a mention of Beech Island.
