I'd love information on your Ellison line. It ties into my husbands line with Mary Ellison, (granddaughter of Matthew Ellison, no dates) before 1856, who married John Franklin ??. Muldrow, no dates, from the Darlington area.
John F. Muldrow and Mary Ellison had a daughter Mary Ellison Muldrow 1856 - 1928, who married Elias Whilden Venning 1855-1882, both buried at the St. Stephen Episcopal Church, St. Stephen, S.C. ( This Mary Ellison was a daughter of ? Ellison and ? Shaw. ? Shaw was a daughter of David Shaw and Sarah Douglas.)
Their daughter Sadie Lenorah Venning 1890 - 1976, married Wilson Tate Baggett 1880 - 1938, also buried at St. Stephen Episcoal Church, St. Stephen, S.C., my husbands (Robert Ellison Baggett 1944 - 2000) grandparents.
