Greetings from SC. I find the following information in Boddie's 'History of
Williamsburg," p. 52. Boddie was discussing the variations in early
Williamsburg (SC) wills by different religions.

"Contra, the first clause in the will of Nathaniel Snow, Church of England:
'first and principally recommending my immortal soul into the nad of Almighty
God, my Heavenly Father, trusting in the merits of my Blessed Saviour for
pardon and remission of all my sins and an happy admission into the regions of
Bliss and Immortality.'"
