These are a couple of suggestions that I recommend, that had lists of persons
naturalized in Charleston, and microfilm that covers Clerk of the Court
Naturalization records. They are as follows:

Federal Naturalization Oaths, Charleston, SC 1790-1860 (SCR 929.3)

South Carolina Naturalizations, 1783-1850 (by Brent Holcomb) (SCR 929.3757)

Charleston County Clerk of court: Naturalization Records, 1836-1905,
Registration of Aliens Under Act of 1940 (microfilm)

Records of Admissions to Citizenship, District of South Carolina, 1790-1906
(microfilm)

These are all available at the Charleston County Library, South Carolina
Room, at 68 Calhoun Street.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me.
