Clyde Quick

WALLACE - Services for Clyde Quick, 76, will be held at 2 p.m. today,
December 19, 2001, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Wallace. Burial will
follow in the church cemetery. Kiser Funeral Home of Cheraw is in charge.
Mr. Quick died Sunday, December 16, 2001, in Cheraw. Born in Marlboro Co., he
was a son of the late Walker and Cora Quick. He was a U.S. Army veteran of
World War II and a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. He loved
baseball, football and fishing.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde C. Quick and Joyce of Cheraw,
Richard E. Quick and Linda of Friendswood, Texas, David B. Quick and Ann of
Bennettsvile, W. Alan Quick and Sherrie of Rockingham, N.C., Charles M. Quick
and Jackie of Wallace; brother, Henry Frank Quick and his wife Mildred of
Wallace; sister, Alice C. Jones of Cheraw; 11 grandchildren; three great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kate
Quick.

SUMMERVILLE - Services for Alice Nannette Flowers Boan, 93, will be held at
11 a.m. Thursday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield,
with burial in Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from
6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Boan died December 17, 2001. Born in Zanesville, Ohio, she was a
daughter of the late Walter and Martha Taylor Flowers.

Surviving are husband, Jessie Boan; son, Jennings Boan; daughters, Nanette
DuBose and Wanda Tilney; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 12
great-great-grandchildren.
