Do you have any information about John Massey who served as a soldier for three years in the Virginia Continental Line? For his 3 years of service John Massey was awarded Land- Office Military Warrant, No. 42115 for 100 acres in Kentucky. Just before 1786 many Veterans were notified that they must use it or lose their Warrant by the end of the year 1786. John Massey sold his Warrant No. 42115 to Hugh Donagho. I have not been able to find if any "Land Grants" were ever filed on this Warrant. My 5g great-grandparents James and Delilah Donaho left Chesterfield County, SC. for Warren County, KY. by 1800. Residing in Russellville, Logan County, KY. is Hugh C. Donaho in the early 1800s. I'm trying to identify this Hugh Donagho and if he has connections to the Cheraw District of South Carolina. Any help or info would be appreciated, Thank you!
