My MAY comes down from AMASA MAY who was the s/o of CHARLES MAY and POLLY
LOVELESS. He married 1st. Mrs. Nancy Rauton & 2nd Polly Sorgee. With NANCY,
he had 14 children, the 11th of whom was SUSAN MATILDA MAY, my gggrandmother.
She married JACOB SENN. Their daughter, ARDELLA, married my ggrandfather,
JOHN E. CROSBY, in Colleton County, SC.
This MAY line is from Mays Crossroads in Edgefield County and is discussed
in great detail in the book, CHARLES MAY AND HIS DESCENDENTSthat was published
by the May Family Assn.in 1956. If this is your line, I can send you what
