Hi Conrad-
Happy new year and to the start of a new millienium. I have happened upon
an item but I have not preceeded with any additional action as yet-about
Edgefield SC. In one of my searches I happened onto the following infomation
and thought that I would pass this information to you. It is a line of
research that I had not thought of, but it may give us another avenue of
research.

Available as a book, published in 1897 and reprinted in 1998.
"History of Edgefield County from the Earliest Settlements t 1897", by
John A Chapman, Newberry, SC. AH Aul Company, 1897 with reprint in 1998
by Eastern Digital Resources. Also available in CD.

Question. Since there is another publication on the street about early
american pioneer families, which had an article on L D Holsonbake by Chapman
which I had been warned by you not to use or trust as a resource, Do you
think the above listed publication is worth the expense/time to purchase/pursue?
