In your Oct. 2000 posting on the Colleton Co SC message Board I saw this line "Eleanor is buried as a Carter at Carter's Ford baptist church in Lodge, SC." I am researching the Jacob Carter family of Carter's Ford on the Salkehatchie River and was curious about Carter's Ford and the surrounding area. I was hoping you might be able to steer me to other searchable resources for additional information. By the way my husband descended from a branch of the Peeples family who left SC for Florida.
