I was checking the message board and came across your message on John Counts that came from SC in the Newberry Dist. in about 1749. My fathers gggrandfather was David Counts born in 1803 and he married a Harriet Monk born in 1823, had children, Daniel, David Charles, Macca and Simeon. My fathers ggrandfater was Simeon Counts which lived in Alabama. My fathers name is Virgil L. Counts and he is from Enterprise, Alabama and he lives in Waynesville, Ohio. What we are interested in is information on ancestors before, David Counts born 1803, as we have none at this time. Don't know if this at all part of your family but it was worth a try. Hope to hear something from you.
