I work at what was Fred Parker Funeral Home and is now Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home and have access to some death records. Hope this information helps.
Annie Marie Hughes Langdale, born Jan. 23, 1892, in Colleton County, a daughter of David Hughes and Jahaden Lemacks Hughes. Married Cleveland Charles Langdale, born May 26, 1893 in Colleton County, a son of Charles Lawrence Langdale and Mary Lacey Langdale. He died Mar. 3, 1963 at his residence in Walterboro. Mrs. Annie Marie Hughes Langdale, died Nov. 9, 1978 at the Oakwood Health Care Center in Walterboro. They are both buried in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Walterboro. They had a son,
Charles Langdale, Walterboro, SC, three daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Mary Lea) Canaday, Beaufort, SC, Mrs. Everette (June) Hudson, Beaufort, SC and Mrs. Clifton M. (Estelle) Gregory, Walterboro, SC, a sister, Mrs. D. B. Gruber of Round O, SC, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
These were the survivors at the time of her death in 1978.
