I found two Gibbs families in Colleton County, SC, on the 1820 census.
James Gibbs on page 15 of the census had no information in the squares except for the slave section.
Does anyone know who this Gibbs was?
Also, Mrs. S. Gibbs is listed on page 17, with 1male age 16 to 26 and 1 female 26 to 45 in the household.I am interested in her as well.
If you have something on these Gibbs please let me know.
