Robert,
It has been a while since your response to one of my postings and would like to ask a favor again. In the book that you have, is there a mention of an Elizabeth Elliott? Was told there was a recent cleanup of Pon Pon Chapel of Ease by one of the Historical Societies. Hopefully they located more gravestones and will update the last inventory of this graveyard. I was there in Sept. and found Catherine A Gordon's tombstone, with on on each side (one appears to be an infant grave, with she did have several die young) and the other side looks as though it was a broken piece of a larger stone, which was not legible. I took photos with hopes of enlarging and trying to decipher with no luck.
The place was so overgrown with weeds, etc., could not explore like I had hoped. Have been told that Elizabeth Elliott is also there, but could not find because of the high grass. Maybe it will be in the book.
