I have a William Sanders McMillan married to Selena Susan Jane Carter, b. about 1861 at Lodge, Colleton County, S.C.

William Sanders McMillan was the son of James R. "Jimson" & Nancy McMillan. It is thought that Nancy McMillan was a Sanders before her marriage.

James R. McMillan was the son of Major James "Jim" McMillan & Rebecca Williams. James R. McMillan moved to Florida. His father, James William McMillan, left a will under the name of William McMillan, Barnwell County, S.C. James R. settled his father estate, I believe in about 1849.

Child of William & Selena McMillan:
Elizabeth M. McMillan, b. 15 June 1890, d. 1960
