I too am researching the Robertson family in Colleton County. My Grandmother, Mildred Robertson had many brothers, one named Floyd I recall. They all lived in and around Ruffin SC. My Grandmother's mother was named Capitola (or Cappietole as you have spelled it) and I was told that her husband's name was George Parley (thought to be last named Graves by some in the family, though this may be confusion with another line) My Grandmother's maiden name was definitely Robertson. She married Kenneth Phillips, and settled in Charleston on Drake St.. Kenneth was a policeman for the Charleston Police Department and his Father was police chief of Beufort, where he was from. I am mostly concerned with information about Capitola and her family line, as I have heard she was of Indian decent. Any information I can find out about them wil be greatly appreciated.
