I sure hope you have good luck and will share your information with other
great grand children. I'm beginning to believe he is buried in an unmarked
grave.

My thoughts are...1880 COLLETON COUNTY, SC-WARREN TOWNSHIP #208-209 -
STRICKLAND, R D 33: M A 24: M E 14: Amelia 3: James 1 ----

Do you know /think if this is R Unchain might have been R Duncan
Strickland 33 (c d/b 1847) : Martha Padgett Strickland 24 (c d/b 1856): M
Elizabeth 14(d/o Duncan's first marriage): Amelia 3: James (maybe JAMES
MILTON) 1

The obituary of James Milton Strickland - survivors mentioned are one half
brother, Quillie Hand and a sister Mrs Rosa Ellison of Charleston.
