i am also researching the parnell line. my ancestor is mary"polly" parnell who was born about 1790 to 1800 in south carolina. mary married axom oneal and they raised a family in darlington county, south carolina. they had a son, james oneal born about 1815. they had other children, some of the names are emily oneal, evander oneal, peter oneal, elizabeth oneal, and sarah oneal. axom was married to #2 wife, lucy flowers. they had children, also. i am not positive if the following children were lucy's or mary's: nancy oneal , david oneal, griffin oneal, wiley oneal, rachel oneal, elvira oneal, and jane oneal. if you have any information regarding mary"polly" parnell, please e mail me at . hopefully, gloria oneal.
