A 2002 survey by Sandra Brumbles of the Miller Cemetery in the
Kentyre Community was added to the Dillon County SCGenWeb site:

Thanks, Sandra!

I'm not a Miller researcher but I'm intrigued with the cemetery
Sandra found. With five wooden markers, this is surely a very old
cemetery. Does anyone know if the William MILLER family
of "Upper Marion", mentioned in W.W. Sellers' "History of Marion
County" lived in this area (~Kentyre Community)? The cemetery
is very near the Robeson County border, and includes a few
tombstones for McCORMIC(K)s.

The cemetery also includes a memorial marker for "Jordan SELLERS,
Rev War N.C. Regiment". Now how did that get there? According to
W.W. Sellers, old Jordan Sellers, his father, went to live in Horry County.
Was there a Sellers-Miller connection or a Sellers-McCormick connection?
Just curious.

Cheers,

Victoria
