KINSTON - Ronald Ray Holder, 51, of 1507 Perry Park Drive, died Thursday at Carteret General Hospital. A celebration of life will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday

at El Bethel Assembly in Goldsboro. The Rev. Wade Pope will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Holder was born September 4, 1950 to Benjamin Orbit Holder and the late Rachel McCormick Holder. He attended Harvest Church in Kinston, where he was an elder and worship leader. He was a local advisor for Women's Aglow International. Prior

to moving to Kinston, he was a former member of

Spring Hill FWB Church, The Word Church and Whitley PH Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Holder; one son, Travis Holder and wife Mandy of Wilmington; one daughter, Jennifer Holder of Wallace; two brothers, Roger Holder and wife Shirley of Floyd Dale, S.C. and Vernon Holder and wife Jan of Marion, S.C.; five sisters, Sue Lane and husband Carlton of Marion, S.C., Amy Musselwhite and husband Aaron of Dillon, S.C., Alice Rogers and husband, Ray, of Mullins, N.C., Sandra Deese and husband Mike of Clyde, N.C., and Jean Snipes and husband Harold of Latta, S.C.; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Holder. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mr.
