Larry C. Bryant

HARTSVILLE -- Mr. Larry Carlisle Bryant, 56, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at
McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, in Devotion Gardens
Cemetery of Mullins. The services will be directed by Smith-Collins Funeral
Home of Marion.

Mr. Bryant was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Marion County, a son of the late
David Samuel Bryant and the late Elsie Smith Bryant. Mr. Bryant was owner
and operator of Bryant Security Systems. He was a member of Rivers of Living
Water Church in Hartsville.

Surviving Mr. Bryant are his wife, Betty King Bryant of Hartsville; his
children, Larry Brice Bryant and his wife Torri of Southern Pines, N.C.,
Rhonda Ann Bryant and her fiancZ Grant Page of Florence, Sonya Lynn White
and her husband Trey of Darlington; a granddaughter, Madison Alexis White;
two stepchildren, Vanessa Brown of Floydale and Dawn McCray of McBee; three
stepgrandchildren, Steven Dwayne Brown, April Betty Brown and Jay Hilton
King Jr.; his brothers and sisters, April Betty Brown and Jay Hilton King
Jr.; his brothers and sisters, Hugh Bryant and his wife Lib of Latta,
Elizabeth Lively of Marion, Pat Taylor and her husband Thad of Banner Elk,
N.C., Margaret Denny and her husband Gene of Myrtle Beach, Linda Lynn of
Marion and Judy Phillips and her husband Bill of Pineville, N.C.; and a
sister-in-law, Vera H. Bryant of Marion.

Mr. Bryant was predeceased by three brothers, David S. Bryant Jr., Howard
Alton Bryant and Ira T. Bryant; a sister, Ila Mae Hayes; and a stepson, Jay
Hilton King.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Smith-Collins Funeral Home of
Marion.
