Cook, Alice Louise Calder

LATTA -- Services for Alice Louise Calder Cook will be 3 p.m. Thursday,
Jan. 8, 2004, in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with entombment in Evergreen
Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Cooper
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cook, 73, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, in Loris Community Hospital.

Born in Dillon County, June 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late
Stonewall Calder and Mary Kirby Calder. She was a member of Mt. Calvary
Baptist Church and was a textile worker.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra C. (Dale) Todd of Loris, Brenda
(Ricky) Williams of Whiteville, N.C., and Linda C. (Anthony) Coleman of
Fork; son, Bobby (Faye) Cook of Darlington; sister, Bernice Maynor of Latta;
brothers, James E. "Sonny" Calder of Latta and Charles Calder of Hamer;
seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
