Ray Black, Sr.

(June 1, 1936 - January 11, 2004)

LATTA

Ray Black, Sr., entered into enternal rest Sunday, January 11, 2004, at
Regency Hospital in Florence after a long and valiant battle with an
illness.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in Dillon Church of God
with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper by Cooper Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday evening in the funeral home.

Born June 1, 1936, he was the son of the late Daniel and Minnie Black. He
was a beloved husband and father; as well as a friend to all in need.

He is survived by his faithful wife of 46 years Dorothy J. Black of Latta;
son, Ray Black, Jr. (Sharon) of Dillon; daughters, Judy Rae Black and Debra
J. Rouse (Randy) of Latta; sisters, Mable B. Mew and Maxine Hayes of Hamer;
brother, Edwin Huggins of Mauldin; three wonderful grandchildren,
Christopher, Phillip, and Samantha
