DILLON

Services for Shirley Powers Harris will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday in Cooper
Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be
held 7-9 P.M. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home.



Mrs. Harris, 67, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004 in McLeod Regional Medical
Center.



Born in Scotland County, NC, October 25, 1936, she was the daughter of Gary
Powers and Juanita Greir Powers. She was a member of Floyd Dale Mission
Church and was a homemaker.



Survivors include her husband, Walter G. (Sonny) Harris, Jr. of Dillon;
sons, Greg Harris of Lugoff, Ronnie Harris of Rowland, NC, Chris Harris of
Dillon, Bobby Wade of New Kent, VA, Larry Jackson of Florence; daughter,
Helen Stalnaker of Anderson; sister, Virginia Rowell of Hamer; brothers,
Jimmy Powers of Bennettsville, Frank Powers of Florence, Bobby Powers of
Cary, NC, Billy Powers, Thomas Powers and Charles Powers, all of Dillon; 12
grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren
