Jimmie Wayne Lane



MYTLE BEACH | Jimmie Wayne Lane also known as ''Papa Blues'' age 56 of
Hawthorne Lane went to play music with the angles in Heaven on Monday, July
5, 2004.

Born Jan. 10, 1948 in Dillon, S.C., he was the son of Carolyn Caulder Lane
and the late James W. Lane. Mr. Lane owned and operated ''Lil Concert Cafe''
in Myrtle Beach for several years and owned

''A Star in You'' karaoke for the past 15 years. He loved his music and has
touched many life's through his music and his love for people. He will be
greatly missed by his family and friends but will always be remembered by
his love of music and his love for his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Surfside Beach, is his loving wife of
34 years, Karin N. Lane of Myrtle Beach; his beautiful children, Bryan and
Brett Lane both of Atlanta, Ga., Shayne and Diondra Lane both of Myrtle
Beach, April Bennett of Valdosta, Ga.; two grandchildren and brothers and
their wives, Alan and Libby Lane of Davidson, NC and Arthur and Elizabeth
Lane of Socastee.

Services will be 2 p.m., Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
Burial will follow in Ocean Woods Cemetery.

A Celebration of Jimmie's eternal life will be 5 p.m., Friday at Warren's
Restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9
p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
