Addie A. Moody

LAKE VIEW -- Mrs. Addie A. Moody, 95, died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Saint
Eugene Medical Center after an illness.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 12, 2004, at 4 p.m. at the Lake View
United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Lake View Cemetery.
Directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends
from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday July, 11, 2004, at Cook Funeral Home and other
times at the home.

Mrs. Moody was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Conneilus
Burton and Maud Miller Arnette. Mrs. Moody was a member of the Lake View
United Methodist Church.

Surviving are five sons, Gene Moody and Gregg Moody of the home, Maurice
Moody (Betty Sue) of Lake View, Neil Moody (Diana) of Lake View, and Lynn
Moody (Cheryl) of Lake View; four daughters, Luna Faye Moody of the home,
Ann M. Cooke of Lake View, Maudine M. Sanderson (Jimmy) of Lake View, Martha
M. Britt (Jimmy) of Marion; a daughter-in-law, Faye P. Moody of Lumberton;
three sisters, Louise A. Breeden of Florence, Willena A. Turner of Florence
and Thelma A. Witherspoon of Durham, N.C.; 22 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Moody was preceded in death by her husband Hoyt Moody, a son, Jack
Moody, and a daughter, Adline Moody.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Lake View United Methodist
Church, Lake View.
