Dorothy Jean Medlin

(May 28, 1922 - September 2, 2004)

SELLERS

Services for Dorothy Jean Medlin will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in
Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church with burial in Old Ebenezer Church
Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 Friday in Cooper Funeral Home.

Mrs. Medlin, 82, died Thursday in Carolinas Hospital.

Born in Marion County, May 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Jake
Underwood and Cleta Thaggard Underwood. She was the widow of the late Carl
B. Medlin, was a member of Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church and the Ladies
Sunday School Class, and was retired the the U.S. Postal Service.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon and Jay Lawson of Latta, Laura and
Michael Maldonado of Dillon, and Lisa and John Walton of Ft. Mill; son, John
A. and Gail Medlin of Dillon; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Medlin was preceded in death by her son, Carlton B. Medlin III
