(October 15, 1942 - May 6, 2005)

DILLON

Carolyn B. Sawyer, 62, died Saturday, March 5, 2005, in McLeod Medical
Center-Dillon.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in First Presbyterian Church
with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum directed by Cooper Funeral
Home. Visitation will be 7-9 Monday evening in the funeral home.

Born in Robeson County, NC, October 15, 1942, she was the daughter of the
late Raymond D. Branch and Henrietta Brigman Branch. She was a member of
First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Sawyer of Dillon; sons, Michael D.
Hamer (Madge) of Hamer and James "Skip" Sawyer (Stacy) of Ft. Collins, CO;
daughter, Lisa Matthews (Jeff) of Dillon; sister, Brenda Branch & fiance,
Wayne King of Dillon; granddaughters, Ansley & Erin Hamer of Hamer.

Mrs. Sawyer was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth B. Christmas; and a
brother, Raymond Branch, Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Dillon Christian School, 337 South Commerce
Drive, Dillon, SC 29536
