DILLON — Geneva Lois Hyatt, 89, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, in McLeod
Medical Center-Dillon.
Born Aug. 9, 1916, in Dillon County, she was the daughter of the late John
Wesley Goodwin and Leila Lenora Wise Goodwin. She was a member of Dillon Second
Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, in Dillon Second
Baptist Church, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. today
at Cooper Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Diane Norris of Florence, Vickie E.
Allen and Barbara Jean Berry of Dillon; sons, Robert Hyatt of Chesterfield and
Paul Wesley Hyatt of Dillon; brother, Howard Goodwin of Sumter; 14
grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hyatt was preceded in death by her daughters, Patricia Marilyn Watson
and Bonnie Maxine Hyatt; and her sons, Lafon Hyatt and Gerald Lee Hyatt.
