LATTA — Henry Liston Nolan, 80, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Cape Fear
Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in Latta Baptist Church with
burial in Old Ebenezar Church Cemetery, directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, Dec. 28, 1926, he was the son of the late John Thomas
Nolan and Edith Virginia Lundy Nolan. He was a member of Latta Baptist
Church, where he was a former deacon and president of the Mens Sunday School Class,
and attended Clemson A & M College. He was a Mason for 51 years, a member of
the Dalcho Lodge 160, and worked with Dupont for 27 years. He was the
widower of the late Emma Lee Nolan.
Survivors include his sons, Byron & Lisa Nolan of McGurie A.F.B., N.J., and
Reggie & Debbie Nolan of Pope A.F.B., Fayetteville, N.C.; sisters, Juanita &
Junious Parker of Chesapeake, Va., Helen Webster of Conway, Grace Henderson
of Moncks Corner, Elease Jungkunz of Blenheim, and Martha Ann & Mike Williams
of Blenheim; brothers, John L. & Eula Nolan Sr. of Blenheim, William B. Billy
& Mary Nolan Sr. of Bennettsville, Mickey & Faye Nolan of Bennettsville, and
Danny & Mary Lou Nolan of Blenheim; five grandchildren, Katherine, Huntley,
Lydia, Lee and Roma.
Mr. Nolan was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Childress; and a
brother, Carlos Nolan.
