DILLON — Services for Edwin Ashley McCray will be held 4 p.m. Monday in
Dillon Congregational Holiness Church with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery
Mausoleum. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. McCray, 75, died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at McLeod Medical Center in
Dillon.
Born in Jacksonville, Ga., Sept. 6, 1931, he was the son of the late Robert
McCray and Thelma Stone McCray. He was a member of Dillon Congregational
Holiness Church, was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict, and was a
retired roadmaster with CSX Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Causey McCray of Dillon; children, Eddie
(Ily) McCray of Newberry, Fla., Tami (Don) Olds of Leesburg, Va., Gail (Tommy)
Price of Mullins, and Michael (Gena) McCray of Louisburg, N.C.; brother, Fred
McCray of Spartanburg; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
