Services for Clara Bell Harrelson will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Pyerian
Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held
7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harrelson, died Monday, July 9, 2007 in McLeod Hospice House in
Florence, SC.
Born in Dillon County, May 31, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Shelley
Jackson and Lila Dillon Jackson. She was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church,
was a member of the "Eastern Star" Chapter 249, Dillon, SC. She was
installed as "Worthy Matron" in 1966. She was the widow of the late Nayhue Harrelson.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Ann Hayes of Dillon, and Brenda Kathy
Altman of Latta; son-in-law, Carl Altman of Latta; sisters, Hazel Stephens
of North Myrtle Beach, and Amanda Hardwick of Floyd Dale, SC; brothers, Hoyt
Jackson of Dillon, and Bishop Jackson of Conover, NC; 12 grandchildren; 2
step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harrelson was preceded in death by her son, Jackie Hue Harrelson.
