Graveside services for Victoria Carolyn Kourkoulis will be held 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home in Dillon.
Ms. Kourkoulis, 49, died Friday, September 7, 2007.
Born in Dillon County, August 15, 1958, she was the daughter of Earl A.
Spangler, Sr. and Carolyn Hamer Hyland. She was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and she
dedicated her life to rescuing animals.
Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Hamer Hyland of Dillon; brother, Earl
A. Spangler, Jr. of California; and close family friend, Jerry Toporek.
Ms. Kourkoulis was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Harry Hamer;
and her grandmother, Bernice Hamer Smith.
