DILLON — Services for Richard Wilkerson will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20,
2007, in Oakland Holiness Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilkerson, 63, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, at McLeod Medical Center in
Dillon.
Born Oct. 11, 1944, in Dillon County, he was the son of the late Dudley
Wilkerson and Viola Hulon Wilkerson. He was a member of Oakland Holiness Church
and was a retired welder with Law & McKnight Machine Shop.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Wilkerson of Dillon; children, Charles
Wilkerson, Annette Wilkerson Lane, Jackie Aston, Billy Joe Strickland and Diane
Strickland Rowell, all of Dillon; brother, James Wilkerson of Dillon;
sister, Vera Rowell of Dillon; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wilkerson was preceded in death by his brother, Pete Wilkerson.
