LONGS, SC | Rosa Lee Duncan BELL 83, widow of Henry Gary Bell Sr.,
passed away Monday, November 5, 2007.

She was born July 19, 1924 in the Sweet Home community of Horry County,
South Carolina, a daughter of the late Talley Lewis Duncan and the late Annie
Elizabeth Cox Duncan.

Mrs. Bell was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Leon Baptist Church. She
graduated with Honors from Loris High School in 1942. A former WMU director of Mt.
Leon Baptist Church and a retired adult Sunday school teacher, Mrs. Bell
regularly attended the Mt. Vernon Senior Center. She was affectionately known as
''Mammy.''

Mrs. Bell was predeceased by six brothers, Grover Duncan, Rufus Duncan,
Grady Duncan, Alan Duncan, Johnny Duncan and Leroy Duncan; and one sister, Eula
Duncan Marsh.

She is survived by her daughter, Daiwey Ann Parker and her husband, Willard,
of Longs; two sons, Henry Gary Bell Jr. and his wife, Dianne, of Longs and
Alan D. Bell and his girlfriend, Georgetta Mowery, of North Myrtle Beach; two
sisters, Mary Duncan Boyd of Loris and Bertha Duncan Hastings of Greenwood;
five grandchildren, Crystal Ray and her husband, Gavin, of Florence, Ace S.
Parker and his wife, Lucy, of Longs, who are expecting a special Christmas
delivery (Asa Blease Parker), Kevin Bell and his wife, Tara, of Longs, Kyle Bell
and his fiancee, Stephanie Wilhelm, of Loris and Rockie Bell of Longs; and
four great-grandchildren, Brooke Gasque-Ray, Heston Ray, Lane Ray and Hunter
Gary Bell.

The family received friends Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m. at
Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at Mt.
Leon Baptist Church with the Rev. Lonnie Johnson and the Rev. Mark Stevens
officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leon Cemetery.
