HAMER — Thelma Ann Lindsay Deparolis, 84, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, in
McLeod Medical Center-Dillon.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday in Dillon Congregational
Holiness Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Born in Robeson County, N.C., June 5, 1923, she was the daughter of the late
William Arthur Lindsay and Thelma Birdie Rogers Lindsay. She was the widow of
the late Joseph Deparolis, and was a member of the Dillon Congregational
Holiness Church. She was a homemaker and care giver for children.
Survivors include her children, Bertha (Ray) Rogers of Hamer, Anna Deparolis
and Regina Deparolis of the home, Joseph (Susie) Deparolis of Fairfield,
Calif., Jean Marie Daniel of Fla.; four grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Frease of Fayetteville, N.C.; brothers, Wade Lindsay of
Fla., Raymond Lindsay, Lloyd Lindsay, and David Lindsay all of Dillon, and Horace
Lindsay of Seneca.
Memorials may made to the Dillon Camp of Gideons, P.O. Box 111, Dillon, SC
29536, Foreign Missions, or the Disabled Veterans.
