LAKE VIEW — Mr. Curtis B. Ford Jr., 51 died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at
McLeod Medical Center-Dillon after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at First Baptist Church
of Lake View. Burial will be at Lake View Perpetual Cemetery, directed by
Cook Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends at the home of
Mrs. Catherine B. Ford at 108 Gusta Drive, Lake View.
Mr. Ford was born in Sumter County, the son of Catherine Ford and the late
Curtis B. Ford. Mr. Ford graduated from Erskine College, where he was a member
of the baseball team.
Surviving Mr. Ford is his mother, Catherine B. Ford of Lake View; two
daughters, Hily Ford and Katie Ford of Mount Pleasant; and an uncle, Marvin
Barfield (Frances) of Lake View.
