Services for Marion "Bill" Lane will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday in Cooper
Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will
be held 2-3 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Lane, 70, died Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Ascension Hospice House in
Irmo.
Born in Dillon County, July 8, 1938, he was the son of the late Rupert Lane
and Bessie George Lane. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Trena (Bobby) Hayes of Pelion; grandson, Cole
Hayes of Pelion; sisters, Betty Pate of Myrtle Beach, Margie Cole of
Columbia, and Dorothy Hulon of Dillon.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the West Columbia
Dialysis Center for the love and care given to them.
