Services for Virgie Catherine Clark will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday in Cooper
Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Tart Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9
p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clark, 59, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Marion County Medical
Center.
Born in Dillon County, November 11, 1949, she was the daughter of the late
Joseph Blackmon and Lizzie Hodge Blackmon. She was employed by Anvil Knitwear.
Survivors include her husband, Carson Clark of Latta; children, Bill Jackson
of Lexington, Heath Clark of Latta, Cynde Morgan of Marion, and Randy Clark
of Darlington; grandchildren, Travis Jackson, Amber Morgan, Kristin Morgan,
Matt Clark, Kayla Clark, Tyler Clark, Bailey Clark, and Lindsey Clark; sisters,
Charlotte Hubbard of Bennettsville, Patricia Smith and Jeanette Blackmon,
both of Dillon, and Vicky Blackmon of Oregon.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her brothers, Alton Blackmon and Pee Wee
Blackmon.
