Susan:
Obits are fine if they pertain to the area, why post an obit of someone born
in Latvia, NC, GA., etc. unless it is a Low Country name. Many people
whose obits are in the Charleston paper just have children living in the
Charleston area. The children probably stayed in the area after being in
service in Charleston. Do as you like, I just won't read your listing of
obits. I will just delete the posting. Takes too much time and space.
Also, as to the articles you post, this is supposed to be a discussion
group, not a newsletter. I don't think your articles are of interest to
anyone, anyway, the same articles you post are in just about all major news
papers. I know they have been in the papers I get, because I saw the
articles before you posted them. I'll just delete these also.

Also, you said if there is a problem, you will go back to the old way. You
posted the same thing on the Orangeburg list and when Gene requested that
you not post the all the obituaries, you were very rude. Why don't you get
your own web page for these things and you can put what you want on it.
