I am in search of J. W. DAWSON b abt 1847 somewhere in SC. He married Eliza (or Elizabeth) Jane ukn about 1866. Their first child was John K. also born in SC. The other two children were born in Arkansas. They were William and Ida.
All of them are listed on the 1880 Census for Yell Co. AR. They left SC sometime between 1867 and 1872. I have not been able to find them on the 1870 Census Roll. Could they be among the Dawson's of Dorchester County? Thanks for any help you may be able to give.
