I have a letter written to Edward F. Murray, 468 Farwell, Milwaukee, WI dated
5/02/1913. It was sent from somewhere in Kansas but my son found it yrs ago
in an abandoned house in Ridgeville. It asks "How are mother, Dad and
Lillian?" "Pet is in the City somewhere, guess with Woodlea, who knows?"
"Floss and her saylor (sic) are enjoying themselves on the front porch".
"John and Chas have gone to Shawnee to lodge". "You say you had forgotten
George's last name. Here is it 'Gallet'' He of course makes his regular calls
just the same." The letter is singed "Siss" but at the top it says "Merriam".
I'll be happy to turn this over to anyone who might be part of this family.
