Hi List!!
I found some Murray's I have questions about, when looking at the SC
Census. I need to see if I need to add them to my family, or ex them out all
together. I found the following:
1930 Censuus:
James G. Murray
Berkely County, St. James, Goose Creek
53 Years Old
His wife was: Rebecca E. Murray
Children were: Gladys C. Murray, Mildred E. Murray, and Harold T. Murray
I have a James George Murray in my line. I definately found him in the SC
1930 Census as living with Fanny Murray his brother Crum Murray, and his
sone James Murray in Columbia, SC.
Is the above James G. Murray a different person, or same person with two
different places of habitation.
I also found a Grecian Emory Murray
Born C. 1879 Holly Hill, SC/ Died 19939.
John Dekalb Murray
Born 1851/ Died 1915 Holly Hill, SC
There is also a Dr. William Murray listed in the 1850 Census
A Dr. John Murray listed in the 1860 Census
A Grecian Murray listed in the 1850 Census.
A Grecian Murray in the 1880 Census.
If anyone can help me sort these Murrays out I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Lei K. Zimmerman
Greenwood, sc
P.S. Does anyone have info. on a Murray Reed (Reid), and a Leon (Leonidas)
Reid?
