Message Board Post:

Seeking information on my ancestors. I can go back as far as my maternal (mother's side) great-great grandparents, who would have been born in the mid to late 1800's.
//
Great-great grandmother's name was Ada Mosley. She was married to Ote Mosley (parents of multiple children, including my great grandfather who was also named Ote Mosley)-would like to know who Ada and Ote's parents were
//
My other great-great grandmother's name was Lula Davis and I believe her husband's name was Daniel Davis. grandmother, Maisey Mosley). would like to know about the parents of Lula and Daniel
//
Maisey Mosley and Ote Mosley married and had 3 children--one of which is my grandmother, Fairy Belle Glover.
//
My grandmother, Fairy Belle and her sister, Alfreda-- do not seem to remember anything beyond this point. I'm very curious on "how to" locate records/information beyond this point. Searching the census reports has been quite a chore and I'm wondering of records for the African-American population in Dorchester, SC (St. George) from the Mid to late 1800's and earlier are available "anywhere." Please advise...Thanks so much in advance
