Civil War RE-Enactment April 28-29 2001.. starts 9AM!!

Tankersley Farm on Hwy 93 between Central and Norris South Carolina.
Intersection of HWY 93 & Chastain Roads

2 Full Scale Battles:

Saturday 3PM The Battle for Charleston/Southern Railroad

Sunday 2PM The Battle of Gaines Mill
where Robert E Lee takes command of Confederate forces

Great artillary duel with on-the field explosions, exciting Cavalry action
and fierce Infantry battles. This is a living history encampment event
presented by "The SC Foothills Heritage Committee". There will be
educational displays, "Soldiers in Gray" show by Stan Clardy: a Saturday
night dance; Sunday morning worship service: and the replica of "The Hunley
Submarine"

Restrooms, showers, wood and hay provided on beautiful camp areas. Monetary
allowance for artillery pieces. Any re-enactors and sutlers contact Joe
